ELIAS SAHYOUN, CFA

Since joining Zabeel Investments in August 2007, Elias has spent his time monitoring the market, and looking for the next opportunity for Zabeel.

Elias has earlier worked with TECOM Investments and Deloitte in Dubai.  With the announcement of the launch of Zabeel Capital, Elias has been appointed Vice President for the Private Equity arm and will now shift his focus towards building on the current equity portfolio, and expanding Zabeel’s presence in other markets.

Elias will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new financial and strategic opportunities and growing the Group’s capital by efficiently investing locally and internationally.

Elias holds a Bachelors in Business Administration degree from the American University in Beirut (AUB), and is a CFA Charterholder.

LAURA MCKENZIE

Laura Mckenzie joined Zabeel as PA to the Managing Director of Zabeel Capital. Hailing from the UK, Laura previously worked for a property developer in her home country before coming to Dubai. Laura enjoys the young and ethnically diverse atmosphere that characterizes the company and feels that she will benefit tremendously with new experiences and opportunities.

ROHAN PRADHAN

Rohan joins the Zabeel Capital team as Senior Vice President having twelve years of experience with multinational and regional organizations, gathering extensive knowledge in financial management, control, budgeting and planning, as well as investment analysis.

Having started his career in financial management in 1996 with Citbank Mumbai, he moved to Dubai in 1997 and further honed his skills and expertise with various conglomerates in the emirate. He was the Financial Controller for Al Habtoor Group's Insurance Division and was a Financial Analyst for TECOM, a Dubai Holding subsidiary. He also worked as Group Finance Manager for Tatweer, handling financial reporting and operations for the company's landmark projects in the fields of Leisure & Entertainment, Real Estate and Healthcare.

At Zabeel Capital he will be responsible for the management of the portfolio companies focusing on financial management and control. He will also look after the development of governance and internal reporting for the company.

He qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1996 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
